Millarville

Millarville is a small community nestled in the scenic foothills south west of Calgary. Property here is highly sought after because of the interesting and varied terrain, outstanding views and abundant wildlife. It’s proximity to Calgary allows easy commuting to all the big city services although there are many recreational as well as “essential” amenities right in the Millarville area.

Kananaskis Country is just 15 minutes to the west where nature enthusiasts can find outstanding hiking, horse back riding, cross-country skiing and mountain bike trails. Camping, fishing, and bird watching are also favorite activities.

Brown Lowery Provincial Park is a small park located north west of Millarville on Plummers Road. Here you can do many of the same activities as in Kananaskis Country but on a smaller scale.

The Millarville Recreation and Agricultural Society is very active hosting many activities including the Millarville Races, rodeo, fair, farmer’s markets. Plus the facilities are used by the 4-H and Pony clubs, musical ride and many other local user groups.

Millarville School is part of the Foothills School Division and provides education to students pre-school to grade 8.
